We are a full-service growing landscape & design firm offering high quality grounds maintenance and installations to our commercial & residential clients in Manhattan, NY. We work hard to provide our customers with the best possible service and their satisfaction is always guaranteed.

We are looking for a Landscape Designer/Architect who will be responsible for the design and sales of projects. Your portfolio should include both large and small-scale projects. Position requires knowledge of plant materials, landscape, hardscape and waterscape designs.

Responsibilities will include:

-Meet with existing and potential clients to establish their project needs and offer valuable and proactive suggestions & improvements

-Site investigations & conceptual design

-Construction layout & detailing

-Quantity take offs & estimating

-Prepare & present proposals to clients and finalize the project

-Coordinate materials and equipment needed for projects & monitor job progress

-Maintain a high level of quality, efficiency and customer service

Requirements:

-Degree in Horticultural/Plant Science or Landscape Contracting or 4 years of related experience

-Must be able to identify any plant, tree or turf issues

-Proper plant identification & design

-Familiarity and ability to read site plans and develop estimates

-Computer skills " MS Word & Excel, CAD a plus

-Strong organization skills as well as the ability to multi-task & prioritize

-Proven track record in sales

-Excellent written & oral communication skills

-Ability to take direction from Superiors as well as be part of a team

-Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including weekends and holidays if needed

-Valid clean drivers license, CDL a plus

-Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions

-Ability to frequently move objectives up to 75 pounds




Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
