This job requires the ability to perform various sales support functions as well as provide clerical support to the Assistant Sales Manager. Call on Key Accounts while taking incoming calls and processing customers orders. Additional office duties include: answer telephones, transfer incoming calls, take messages, fax and email inventories to customer(s), keep crop and customer notes, complete any projects given by Assistant Sales Manager and constantly learn about many different varieties of crops that Iwasaki Bros., grow. Accuracy and productivity is expected. Clerical and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities and Duties

High volume inbound calls and outbound calling to established customers (chain and independent garden centers).
Work with team from daily call sheets and coordinate call areas for store orders based on priority regions. Send Ad Quantities to Key Accounts for their ads.
Process Sales Calls/Orders via phone, email or fax. Place orders from live inventory in industry specific software.
Able to understand how each key account is unique in their own Ad Distributions for Ad Material.
Become familiar with all plant classifications company grows. Learn where to find answers to customer questions regarding plant type, description and growing conditions.
Walk the greenhouses on a regular basis taking notes of current crop conditions and future crops.
Email and fax Inventory Availability with limits set for specific Key Account(s)
Report to supervisor any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
Able to multi-task
Qualifications and Skills

Call center, inside sales, customer service and data entry experience. Attention to detail, high accuracy rate, strong communication skills, in-depth computer skills, organize and prioritize daily tasks.

Job Type: Full-time seasonal with potential for permanent position

Required experience: Minimum one year experience in customer service with heavy phone traffic.

Knowledge of bedding plant (Annuals, Perennials, Vegetables, Herbs and Ornamental Grasses) preferred.
